Stand-alone Products and Services

Stand-alone Products
For some clients, the best way to approach your event-greening goals is to have us provide individual pieces of our larger packages. So if you're planning an event and you feel you could use help with just one or two aspects of greening it, or if you want to phase in your greening efforts over a period of time and budget, using the menu method can be a great way to go. Here are some of the individual products we offer - and if you don't see what you need, ask us if we can tailor something to your needs.

Green Training or Re-training
In one half-day or full-day session, we'll cover all aspects of green event planning. We'll identify the green practices that fit your situation best, teach you how to negotiate green practices with suppliers, and discuss how to measure the return on investment of green practices.

On-site Event Support/Assessment
Meeting Strategies Worldwide will provide hands-on assistance with your single event. We'll send a green expert to pre-event meetings with key suppliers, to negotiate green practices and communicate your expectations of compliance. Then your green meeting expert will attend the event to ensure suppliers do comply with the specified green practices. Following the event, we'll issue a detailed report using the MeetGreen® calculator, assessing your event and recommending green strategies for the future.

Staff/volunteer Training and Oversight
A Meeting Strategies Worldwide green experts will train and lead staff and volunteers in green practices for your specific event, creating buy-in and empowering them to play major roles in greening your event. The training will cover green expectations for suppliers, and how to ensure green practices are implemented. We'll also attend the event and assess how well the training translated to greening the event, preparing a detailed follow-up report. This service is perfect to combine with on-site event support/assessment (above).

Contract Negotiation
We'll negotiate supplier contracts for your specific event, integrating green requirements wherever possible and creating addenda for existing contracts. We'll also compile a report after the event to assess the impact of the contract efforts on the event.

Strategic Planning
This half-day session brings a high-level view of green strategy. We'll identify the core values of green events as well as the key aspects of an event that have strong potential for greening. We'll also show you how to quantify the cost and resource savings that result from your green strategies.

Site Selection
Meeting Strategies Worldwide will handle all aspects of selecting a site for your green event. This includes RFP submission, site recommendations, contract clauses, rate negotiation and final contract review. We'll ensure green practices are included at every step possible, and prepare a post-event report to assess the site's green performance.

Registration
One of the most detailed and labor-intensive aspects of any event is registration. We'll take over the process for you, not only handling every facet of registration but also implementing green strategies and practices at every step possible.

Exhibit Management
We can manage and green your exhibit process at the same time, handling exhibit freight, displays, giveaways, signage and more to minimize waste and use less energy and fewer resources. After the event, we'll create a report that assesses the greening of the exhibit process.
